Titan has launched a trial bringing digitally-enabled phone kiosks to New York's Times Square.
Three kiosks in Times Square were constructed with digital panels, each capable of delivering HD video and static images, according to a company press release. Each ad rotation lasts for seven seconds and contains content from 10 advertisers.
Titan has the largest inventory of phone kiosks in New York City, with 2,552 payphones at 1,762 phone kiosk locations throughout New York City. Titan's fleet of phone kiosks translate into more than 5,000 advertising faces for companies to capture the attention of New Yorkers in all five boroughs.
"This could be an element of the phone kiosk of the future," Scott Goldsmith, Titan's CCO, said in the release. "Phone kiosks have been and continue to be an essential element of New York City's public communication outlets by providing free access to 311 and 911. What we are doing here is expanding the utility of the kiosk by providing dynamic advertising which will generate significant revenue for the City of New York."
