TiroMedia, a Colorado-based digital signage technology company, recently launched the SCB-610, a GPIO (General Purpose Input Output) adapter that can be used in conjunction with the TMP N6 Digital Signage player.
It can be used to build interactive kiosks and displays and includes adding external buttons that correspond to specific functionality. Other modules can also be connected to the SCB-610 (motion sensors, etc). This makes integration with most kiosk systems extremely easy. The module is already pre-set with the most common functions and can be configured using the on-board DIP switch.
