TIO deploys ExxonMobil kiosks in Texas

BURNABY, British Columbia — TIO Networks Corp., provider of automated bill payment and financial services, announced the deployment of more than 100 E-Wiz financial services kiosks in as many ExxonMobil On the Run and Tigermarket convenience stores in Dallas, Houston, Austin and San Antonio, Texas.

E-Wiz, a member of the TIO Network, is ExxonMobil's brand of self-service automated bill payment and financial services kiosks that enable convenience store patrons to securely and conveniently pay their wireless, cable, utility and other bills in cash, purchase prepaid products and access other financial services.

"Over the past decade, Dallas, Houston, Austin and San Antonio have experienced a substantial population growth. A large proportion — estimates range from 25 percent to 58 percent — of this community is ‘unbanked,'" said Hamed Shahbazi, chairman and chief executive of TIO Networks. "TIO Networks sees a substantial market opportunity to serve these consumers by providing access to bill payment services and other financial tools."

Currently, E-Wiz kiosks serve more than 50,000 people in 4 states.
