Third Stream Media finds a Muze

March 28, 2002

DENVER, Colo.  - Third Stream Media Inc., (Pla.Net.Com, Inc.) (OTC:PLAE), a media technologies company based in Denver, Colo., today announced it has entered into a licensing agreement with N.Y.-based Muze Inc., a source of entertainment product information for music, books, video and games.

The licensing agreement allows Third Stream Media to incorporate Muze's comprehensive entertainment content into its in-store kiosks.

Under the terms of the contract, Third Stream Media gains access to Muze's inventory of more than 220,000 popular music titles, cover art, artist biographies, reviews and related text. The information is linked by Universal Product Code (UPC) numbers to all commercially distributed music, video, books and games.

The information will be used in Third Stream Media's Touch Stand kiosks. The kiosks present product information using Apple Computer iMac systems and an interface designed with Macromedia Flash.

Each Touch Stand Flash interface will be branded to the retailer and can include the retailer's in-store inventory. The branded interface will also be available to retailers as an e-commerce solution, allowing consumers to shop in-store or on-line via the same interface.

Since 1991, Muze has provided businesses with comprehensive entertainment content for shoppers. More than 250 companies use Muze content to sell their products. Companies include Yahoo!, America Online, Tower Records, Best Buy, Virgin Mega Stores, Amazon, MTVi and Borders.

Third Stream Media manufactures Touch Stand interactive kiosks. The kiosks will debut in stores this summer and allow consumers to shop in stores for more than one million products including CDs, concert tickets, videos, books and games. The kiosk, which will target record and book stores and coffee shops, will provide users the ability to listen to more than 1 million audio clips, view movie trailers, read reviews and biographies, and search for physical product in inventory directly from the branded interface.

On March 9, Third Stream Media was acquired by Pla.Net.Com Inc., a Texas corporation.
