Thailand's Ministry of Foreign Affairs will install its first automatic, paperless kiosk for passport renewal to reduce the risk of coronavirus by Jan. 29 at MBK Centre, according to a Bangkok Post report.

Chatri Archjananun, director-general of the Department of Consular Affairs, said there will be 15 machines by May following a trial, 10 of which will be inside and the rest outside. Users must have their passport history and be 20 years of age at least.
