The city of Center, Texas, plans to install a bill-payment kiosk at the city hall building, enabling residents to make payments on water and utility bills.
According to lightandchampion.com, customers will be able to check the balance of their account and make payments 24/7, instead of waiting for the operating hours at City Hall.
The kiosk will accept credit or cash payments; however it will not give return coinage for payment differences. A credit will be applied to the customer's account for coin amounts. The kiosk is scheduled to open the first week of November, the article reported.
