Tesla has opened its EV connector design to non-Tesla EV charging network operators and vehicle manufacturers, according to a press release.
Tesla owners can look forward to charging at other EV charging networks without adapters.
The company will allow charging network operators and vehicle manufacturers to put the Tesla charging connector and charge port, now called the North American Charging Standard, on their equipment and vehicles.
Earlier this year, Tesla announced plans to allow non-Tesla EV owners to charge on its Supercharger network in the U.S.
