BRAUNSCHWEIG, Germany -- German kiosk enclosure manufacturer Termimac Informationssysteme has introduced version V of its information kiosk, featuring an Apple-MacIntosh computer and a height-adjustable stand.
The stand, powered by a gas compression spring, allows the kiosk to rest at a height of 69 centimeters to 110 centimeters (about two to 3 ¼ feet). The ground plate and lifting columns are made from powder-coated steel while the desktop is constructed of powder-coated aluminum.
Company officials said the unit assembles easily using a pair of screws in both the ground plate and desktop units. Termimac V can act as either a kiosk or a computer workstation, according to the company. No price points were disclosed.
