Tennessee county installs outdoor vehicle renewal kiosk

Motorists in DeKalb County, Tennessee can renew vehicle registrations at an outdoor kiosk at the county office, according to a wjle.com report.

The county used federal COVID funds to purchase the $26,000 machine.

After the first year, there will be an annual $5,000 fee for maintenance and parts, which will be covered by state funds already earmarked for county clerks.
