Ten Square pumping content to VeriFone gas terminals

SAN JOSE, Calif. - Ten Square entered an agreement with VeriFone that will enable it to deliver its interactive content to 30,000 POS terminals at gas pumps across the country.

VeriFone, a division of Hewlett-Packard, has installed its Ruby SuperSystem POS terminals. Customers will be able to select from coupons and promotions from advertisers during the idle time spent at the gas pump.

It was the latest in a flurry of announcements from the interactive digital broadcaster, including a Jan. 24 agreement with CITGO Petroleum Corp. involving 28,000 retail gasoline sites.
