Tech partners team on phone ordering and delivery robot for restaurants

Ser.vi Worldwide, a provider of QR ordering solutions for restaurants, has teamed with United Robotics Group, a robotics technology provider, to allow restaurant patrons to order and pay with their phones and have their orders delivered to their table by a delivery robot.

Ser.vi's mobile restaurant menu allows patrons to place orders and make payments on their phone and automatically prints tickets in the kitchen or bar, enabling restaurants to save up to 60% on front of house staff costs while alleviating workload.

United Robotics Group provides Plato, which it calls a "cobiot," a delivery robot.
