Tech partners intro retail self-checkout solution

OneView Commerce, a Hingham, Massachusetts-based provider of SaaS solutions for omnichannel retailers, has teamed with Anker Kassensysteme GmbH, a Bielefeld, Germany-based provider of point-of-sale hardware, to introduce a self-checkout solution offering multi-gesture functionality and age-restricted item verification, according to a press release.

"We are pleased that our partnership with OneView now delivers highly scalable and future-proof self-checkout for retailers of all sizes," Tarek Hussain, Anker Kassensysteme's head of sales and marketing, said in the press release.
