Tech company introduces kiosk with conversational AI

Deepbrain AI, a company specializing in artificial intelligence, has demonstrated its Seven Eleven's AI Kiosk at AI Summit Silicon Valley, a conversational AI technology via an SDK for web and mobile applications which can perform tasks through live conversation, according to a press release.

A subsidiary of Lotte Group, a South Korean multinational, Seven Eleven's AI Kiosk includes Deepbrain AI's AI for use in unmanned convenience stores.

The technology provides promotional information including discounts and newly stocked items, as well as background on the company and technology.

"We believe AI Humans embedded with video and speech synthesis technology will disrupt many industries, including convenience stores," Eric Jang, founder and CEO of Deepbrain AI, said in the press release.
