Tax returns promised faster with kiosks

SAN FRANCISCO - Jackson Hewitt Inc. wants its customers to get tax refunds quickly, or instantly, by using RPM cash management machines being installed at select locations by InnoVentry Corp.

The nation's second largest tax preparation service will place the InnoVentry check cashing machines in selected offices in six states through April, allowing customers to cash refund checks instantly. Jackson Hewitt will also encourage its customers in other locations to use RPM machines already installed at retail locations to cash refund checks.

InnoVentry has placed more than 900 machines at retail stores throughout the country, and plans to build that network to 4,000 machines.
