Tampa area residents gain more Publix locations for vehicle registration renewals

Hillsborough County residents can now renew their car registration and pay taxes at more convenient locations thanks to an expansion of self-service kiosks at Publix grocery stores, according to a CL Tampa Bay report.

"Being able to renew your registration during a regular grocery run is quite convenient," Hillsborough County Tax Collector Nancy Millan told the news outlet.

The kiosks, a collaboration between the tax collector's office, Publix and Intellectual Technology, Inc., allow for quick renewals without a trip to a dedicated tax office. The number of Publix kiosks in the county has grown to eight, with new additions in Valrico, Town 'n' Country and West Tampa.
