BERKELEY, Calif. - Industry leaders in music, media, marketing, and merchandising gathered at U.C. Berkeley on May 4th for the 2nd Annual Future-M panel hosted by VSC Consulting with the support of student group Future Business Leaders of America. According to a news release, the annual event, which brings together senior level executives and established entrepreneurs, was attended by a roomful of students who had the chance to interact, network, and learn from successful industry pundits.
Swipe USA co-founder Ron Christensen explained how the future of "M"oney would come in the form of advanced-function kiosks that deliver complete banking solutions without the need for a traditional bank. "Swipe is revolutionizing the banking experience, and looks to bring the dignity of banking to urban areas across the U.S." said Christensen.
Swipe USA is currently a national leader in advanced-function financial services and will be introducing several products into urban markets shortly, the release stated. The Future-M session allowed the firm to gauge student interest and feedback about new product launches and strategies for success.
"I was excited by the high caliber of students that Berkeley produces and am sure many members of this student body will become future business partners," Christensen stated.
