Swecoin US releases new printer line

MIDDLETOWN, R.I. - Swecoin US Inc., designer of small-footprint thermal self-service printer solutions, announced the official release of the TTP 2000 series of kiosk printers, according to a news release.

Originally introduced on a limited basis in April 2005, the TTP 2000 is now available to Swecoin US's customers throughout the Americas. It is smaller than other 2-inch printers yet adjusts to handle paper widths from 2 to 3.3 inches. Standard features include Swecoin's patented looping presenter, automatic pull detector, programmable retract function, and significantly enhanced print speed. Printhead life expectancy is more than 65 miles of paper. Additionally, a new paper roll holder offers the ability to adjust the position of the paper roll relative to the printer and to position the roll holder on the right or left side of the printer, depending on kiosk design requirements.

"The feedback over the last few months from customers has been extremely positive. Thus far we are seeing the most interest come from kiosk integrators placing units in retail locations," said Elaine Bresnick, president of Swecoin US. "The combination of Swecoin quality, a significantly lower price, and a modular, flexible design allow kiosk designers to make smaller, sleeker, more attractive kiosks at a better price point."

Other features of the TTP 2000 include USB, parallel or RS-232 I/O interfaces, drivers for Windows and Linux, detailed printer status monitoring, an auto-eject option, and the ability to mount vertically or horizontally to fit various kiosk designs.
