Swecoin expands sales to Latin and South America

Middletown, R.I. -- Swecoin US Inc., designer of small footprint thermal kiosk printers, is expanding its printer sales and service into Latin and South America.

This development serves to establish Swecoin as a leading provider of direct thermal printers for unattended applications in the Western Hemisphere, according to a news release.

"We are thrilled to add Latin and South America to our geographical area of responsibility. This region is ripe with opportunity and we have already made significant inroads with major corporations," said Jon Poignant, president of Swecoin US Inc.

Swecoin offers a family of thermal kiosk printers, ranging from 58mm-wide to letter-size. Swecoin printers are widely known for their small footprint, reliability and durable, modular design, the release said.

Swecoin thermal kiosk printers are used in all manner of unattended applications, including receipt printing, coupons, HR applications, and general Internet access.

The vendor also manufactures several ticket printers, one of which prints while simultaneously encoding a magnetic stripe on the reverse side of the card.

Swecoin ticket printers are used in transportation, parking and access control applications. The company has more than 150,000 installations worldwide.
