Swecoin chosen printer for Pearlson kiosks

January 5, 2004

Middletown, R.I. -- Swecoin US Inc., designer of small footprint thermal kiosk printers, said Pearlson Development Corporation (PDC) has selected Swecoin's TTP70x0 and TTP8200 thermal printers to feature inside Pearlson's new line of self-service kiosks.

Pearlson's Treeosk model TR-23, installed at the Meadowlands Racetrack in New Jersey, uses Swecoin's TTP70x0 thermal printer with 112 mm (4-inch) wide media to securely print out loyalty coupons. The new Treeosk Models TR-25 and TR-26 can use Swecoin's TTP70x0 to print out receipts and coupons, or Swecoin's TTP8200 wide-format printer to print out 8.5-by-11 pages.

"Swecoin is an established leader in thermal printer solutions for self-serve applications, so it was an easy decision to select Swecoin as our thermal printer of choice for the new Treeosks," said Douglas Pearlson, chief executive officer of Pearlson Development Corporation.

"The TTP70x0 and TTP8200 are exceptionally well engineered and we are very pleased with their reliable performance at the Meadowlands Racetrack."

Elaine Bresnick, vice president of sales and marketing at Swecoin US Inc., said, "We have a great relationship with Pearlson and are thrilled that they chose to include Swecoin thermal printers in their new Treeosk models.

"Customers using the Swecoin printers in the new Treeosks will greatly benefit from our combined expertise in self-service printing solutions and kiosk design."
