April 14, 2005

MIDDLETOWN, R.I. - Swecoin US Inc., designer of small footprint thermal kiosk printer solutions, announced in a news release its new color kiosk printer. Specifically, Swecoin will use HP's renowned inkjet technology in its letter-sized kiosk document printer, the TTP 8200, to create a new color printer that will meet the growing market demand for photo-quality color printing combined with a highly reliable, durable design for kiosk applications.

"Color printing in unattended applications is more important every day.  As customers get more comfortable using kiosks, their expectations of the printed output grow," said Elaine Bresnick, president of Swecoin US. "We did extensive market research and found enthusiastic support for a new solution to enable color document printing from kiosks. We are excited about the opportunity to collaborate with HP and to address this niche in a way that will utilize the unique strengths of both companies."
