Star Micronics plans to display its solutions for traditional and tablet point-of-sale systems during the Retail Show Middle East 2016 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from May 31 to June 1. The company will showcase a variety of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi based POS printing solutions, according to a press release.
The company's newest POS printer is the TSP143III WLAN, which comes with a guillotine auto-cutter, thin paper capability and a printing speed of 250 mm per second. The printer is compatible with Android, iOS, Linux, Mac OS and Windows platforms.
Star Micronics will also showcase its all-in-one Bluetooth printer and portable cash drawer solution, the mPOP. The device can be attached under the counter and is available with an optional plug-and-play scanner.
The company will display other solutions such as its Bluetooth mobile printers SM-S230i and SM-L200. Both printers are designed to work with Star's WebPrnt Browser, a solution that offers platform-agnostic receipt printing from Web-based applications.
"Star is continually developing and enhancing the functionality of its range of POS and mPOS solutions to meet the changing needs of retail and hospitality," said Simon Martin, director and general manager of Star Micronics. "At the Retail Show Middle East 2016, visitors to the Star stand will be able to see firsthand our extensive portfolio of solutions that provide superior performance and versatility in a wide variety of applications and environments."
