Star Micronics to showcase new solutions at Retail Business Technology Expo

The company will display its POS solutions at the expo March 9 and 10.

Printer manufacturer Star Micronics plans to display its software and printing solutions, both old and new at the Retail Business Technology Expo on March 9 and 10 in London. The company will display its software tools, which integrate with businesses point-of-sale systems, according to the press release.

Star will put these following solutions on display:

• FuturePRNT. This tool is available with Star’s TSP100 futurePRNT series. It allows users to install customer setups before setting up the printer. These settings will be saved on the PC, eliminating setup time for the printer.
• StarPRNT Intelligence. This is a driver suite for Star desktop and kiosk printers, which allows connection configuration and testing.
• WebPRNT This tool allows businesses to print directly from Web-based applications using the Star WebPRNT browser with a Star mobile printer. Desktop printer users can also upgrade with a plug in interface to use WebPRNT.
• AllReceipts. Once customers download the AllReceipts app, businesses can send them digital copies of their receipts along with surveys. It also allows businesses to capture key analytical metrics.
• ProxiPRNT This solution allows businesses to remotely manage POS peripherals from any iOS or Android device. Users can then select any printer in the area and print directly to it.
