Star Micronics extends tablet stand line

Star Micronics, a manufacturer of mobile, point-of-sale and customer engagement technologies, has extended its mUnite tablet stand line with nine all-steel stands: two kiosk models, four mounted and three countertop solutions, according to a press release.

All stands attach to any tablet enclosure with the Vesa mounting unit. Stands include:

• The EZPOS provides a surface for any Star printer or cash drawer.
• The EZ3 and EZ100 house the mC-Print3 and TSP100 series printers designed to keep cables off the checkout counter.
• The Tri-Mount stand secures three tablets in one area.
• The Wall Mount affixes to most walls.
• The Mount 7 and Mount 18 attach to most countertops at 7- and 18-inches in height.
• The Floor Kiosk stand is 4 feet high.
• The EZ Desk Kiosk stand sits on any countertop and has weighted bottoms to keep the stands in place.
