GLENDALE, Calif. - FutureLogic Inc., manufacturer of thermal-ticket printers for cashless gaming, announced that Las Vegas' South Coast Casino selected FutureLogic's GEN2 printer as the standard gaming printer for all of its ticket-in/ticket-out slot machines and gaming platforms.
The casino also has incorporated the printer with more than 2,400 slot and video-poker machines in its new 80,000-square-foot casino. Coast Casinos has been in the vanguard of TITO since its inception and has helped set the standards for cashless gaming.
"We selected the GEN2 printer because of its excellence in design and FutureLogic's outstanding technical support," said Marcus Suan, Coast Resorts' corporate vice president of slot marketing. "The printer has an impressive track record of reliability and technological innovation, and was developed by people who understand and are committed to the gaming industry."
The multifunction printer satisfies South Coast Casino's quality and performance requirements with reliability features such as intelligent ticket handling, a 50-percent increase in paper capacity, and a dedicated port for firmware upgrades.
