The city of Walterboro, South Carolina received $5,000 to purchase and deploy a pair of touchscreen kiosks to provide an interactive education platform in the Walterboro Wildlife Center, according to a walterborolive.com report.
Madison Terry, director of tourism, said the center plans to have the kiosks operating by April of 2022.
The grant was one of 20 totaling over $89,000 to support rural community projects announced by the Foundation for Rural Service and the Rural Broadband Association.
