January 9, 2003

LAS VEGAS -- Anark Corporation has launched the Anark Client Plug-in for Microsoft's Windows Media 9 Series, which it says will enable multimedia audiences to view Anark content within the Windows Media Player 9 Series, including presentations integrating 3D, video, 2D images and audio.

According to a news release, combining Anark content with Windows Media 9 Series will give multimedia content creators new opportunities to build multimedia applications and presentations for both corporate and consumer users, including electronic merchandising, interactive advertising, corporation presentations, product demonstrations and e-Learning applications.

Content can be created with Anark Studio, a multimedia authoring tool that Anark says features a flexible workspace, drag and drop behaviors and an industry standard timeline.

Founded in 1994 and headquartered in Boulder, Colo., Anark's partners include industry leaders such as, D-Storm, Microsoft, NVIDIA Corporation, Right Hemisphere, TurboSquid and Ulead.
