EVERSON, Wash. - SMO Multi-Media, formerly known as Shopping Mall Online, Inc., on Tuesday announced it has entered a strategic partnership with ClipACoupon.com, Inc., as SMO prepares to roll out its line of airport and shopping mall kiosks.
SMO will offer ClipACoupon's product through the company's Web sites and kiosks, and could expand the service to Palm Pilots and other personal assistance devices. ClipACoupon offers coupons from retailers, restaurants, and travel services-catered to specific areas-through its Web site.
"This strategic partnership enables us to provide a nationwide coupon service that will cater to consumers everywhere," Robert Pratt, SMO chief executive officer, said in a press release.
According to the release, SMO will roll out its line of airport and shopping mall kiosks in coming months. SMO on July 26 announced its intent to merge with Skytalk Communications. That deal is contingent on SMO filing the proper financial documentation, the company said in Tuesday's release.
