SMO back on menu for New York luncheon

February 17, 2002

EVERSON, Wash. - Five months and a day after terrorism forced its postponement, SMO Multimedia Corp. (Pink Sheets:SKLK) officials will finally have a chance to display their wares to sales and marketing executives in New York.

SMO chief executive officer Robert Pratt has been named the guest speaker for the Interline Sales/Marketing Association of New York's luncheon at John F. Kennedy International Airport on Feb. 12. Pratt will be speaking about the electronic kiosk industry's role in the airline industry.

During the luncheon, Pratt will display emergency evacuation notification systems that have been added to his company's line of airport kiosks since Sept. 11. SMO plans to deploy the information kiosks at airports and shopping malls later this year. Pratt will also showcase the company's new Traveler's Incentives Reward Points Program, a reward system offering deals from airport vendors, hotels, car rental agencies, businesses, and entertainment providers.

Pratt was supposed to speak before the group this past Sept. 11, but the luncheon was cancelled following the terrorist attacks that morning in New York and Washington, D.C.
