CALGARY, Alberta -- SMART Technologies will present its newly introduced DViT (digital vision touch) technology, which uses proprietary digital cameras and software to determine the contact of a finger, stylus, pointer or other object on a display screen, at KioskCom in Las Vegas April 7-10.
According to a news release, SMART will introduce DViT on one of its own products, SMART Board for Plasma Displays interactive whiteboards, in booth 211 at KioskCom.
SMART says that the DViT technology makes the image 21 percent brighter and the contrast 15 percent better on its SMART Board for Plasma Displays.
Also according to the release, Scott Tallman, SMART's vice president of marketing, will serve as a member of an interactive panel on touchscreens, "Striving for Accuracy, Durability and Optical Clarity," at KioskCom on April 8.
