Smart parking kiosks come to Tanner City, Massachusetts

Tanner City, Massachusetts has installed 76 smart parking kiosks as a part of a $1.5 million downtown improvement project.

The kiosks display time limits, rates and parking information, according to a report by The Salem News.

The kiosks accept coins, cards and contactless payments or via the PARK SMARTER app on Apple and Android. With the app, users can pay electronically, add more time to a meter or view available parking spots.

Tanner City also added electric vehicle charging stations to the area.
