Ride-hailing company Bolt has launched an airport transfer service at Slovakia's Košice Airport in Solvthat that includes the country's first self-service airport ride-booking kiosk, according to a report in the Slovak Spectator.
Located in the arrivals hall, the kiosk enables travelers to book and pay for rides without using the Bolt mobile app, internet access or a charged smartphone. Passengers can enter their destination, choose from standard, premium or larger vehicles and pay by credit or debit card.
As part of the partnership, Košice Airport has designated 16 Bolt pick-up spaces outside the terminal to streamline passenger pickups. Airport spokesperson Juraj Tóth told the news outlet the kiosk is intended to make ground transportation more accessible for international visitors and other travelers who may not have mobile data or the Bolt app. The service debuts as the airport continues to expand its scheduled flight network and experiences growing passenger traffic.
