Shurgard installs INSOMNIAC kiosks in Chicago area

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - OpenTech Alliance Inc. announced in a news release that Shurgard Storage Centers Inc., a self-storage real estate investment trust in the United States and Europe, installed INSOMNIAC self-storage kiosks at four of its facilities in the Chicago area this last December. The new INSOMNIAC kiosks, located in downtown Chicago, Willowbrook, Bolingbrook and Dolton, are a second round of kiosk purchases after a successful pilot at several Shurgard facilities in Arizona earlier last year.

"After seeing INSOMNIAC kiosks work at Shurgard facilities in Arizona and how they have improved business, we were eager to install them in the Chicago area," said Jeff Szorik, regional vice president for Shurgard. "We're extremely excited about their ability to facilitate additional rental income outside normal office hours while providing added customer convenience."
