Sharp to launch no-glasses 3D LCD screens

Digital Trends reports that electronics manufacturer Sharp plans to roll out a glasses-free 3D LCDscreen near the end of 2010.
While initial versions of the screen may have limited use beyond handhelddevices (Sharp is presently demonstrating a three-inch screen, and says the 3D effect works best at aspecific fixed distance from it), the Digital Trends report notes that the company hopes to deploy thetechnology in larger handheld devices and viewscreens in the future.
