The Pill Club, a direct-to-consumer wellness brand, celebrated World Contraception Day 2021 this past Sunday by placing a vending machine adorned with images of uteruses and stocked with the brand's healthcare products, including tampons, lubricants, condoms, lubricants, vitamins and post-sex care and clean-up products at the corner of Lafayette and Houston in New York City, according to an Adweek report.
Liz Meyerdirk, CEO of The Pill Club, said more than 19 million women live in "contraception deserts" and cannot readily access affordable contraception.
