LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Self-Service World, an online portal for news and information related to self-service technology, has launched a "research center" devoted exclusively to the c-store industry.
The C-store Research Center contains feature stories, case studies, white papers and more than 200 recent news stories on c-stores and how they are benefiting from self-service technology.
"Convenience stores have traditionally been a proving ground for customer-facing technology," said James Bickers, editor of Self-Service World. "Two of the most successful self-service applications yet - ATMs and pay-at-the-pump - are closely associated with c-stores. And next-generation applications like bill-payment, financial services and digital signage are having great success, as well."
Visitors to the research center will find free, downloadable how-to guides and special reports on a variety of topics. Case studies include overviews of successful deployments of loyalty programs, prepaid products and cash handling procedures.
