Blytheville, Arkansas, residents will now be able to pay their water bills at self-service kiosks deployed by Blytheville Waterworks, according to a report by Blytheville Courier News.
Residents can use these kiosks to pay their water bills or check their account balances. They can access their account by entering their account number, searching by their phone number, or scanning their water bill.
"The purpose of the kiosk is to create another convenience for the customer by letting them be able to pay their bill even when the water department is closed," Blytheville city councilman Kevin Snow said in an interview with Courier News. "It gives a receipt and updates accounts in real time. It's just another option for those that are unable to get to the water department when they are open."
