Self-service comes to libraries

Sun-Herald:Sarasota County library officials plan to add self-checkout units that allow patrons to help themselves when borrowing materials from the library to the remainder of the county's libraries. In 2003, the self-service system accounted up to 38 percent at participating libraries.
