Self-service boarding cards take off

Financial Times: According to a Holiday Inn spokesperson, about 18 percent of patrons using lobby kiosks are taking advantage of functionality that lets them print boarding passes before heading to the airport. But the idea faces the challenge of airline-specific hardware and software, making "common-use self-service" kiosks, which are managed by the airport rather than the airline, increasingly attractive.
