Self-service airline kiosks hit snag

American Airlines travelers found pre-Thanksgiving flight check-in a bit more frustrating than usual when self-service kiosks went offline on one of the busiest travel days of the year.

An airline spokesperson said the technical hiccup last Wednesday was due to a "brief connectivity issue," according to a Detroit Free Press report.

American apologized to customers and said that no flights were affected.
