Seiko Instruments, Bluestar partner on distribution

Seiko Instruments USA Inc. and Bluestar are joining forces in a distribution deal.

The agreement will let Seiko's partner network offer Bluestar's POS, mobile and label printer products to customers and allow Bluestar to sell Seiko's thermal printer and Smart Label Printer lines. The SLP lines include a RP-F10 POS printer with an attachable digital color display, the MP-B30 Mobile Printer and the Smart Label Printer 600 Series desktop label printers, according to a press release.

"We are excited by this new relationship that will undoubtedly continue our presence when it comes to high-level partnerships," said Yoshi Murakami, general manager, Seiko Instruments USA Thermal Printer Division, in the release. "We look forward to working with Bluestar's management, as well as their partner community — all of whom have the utmost reputation, tradition, and experience within our industry."
