TORRANCE, Calif. - SeePoint Technologyhas landed agreements with a pair of partners who provide technology solutions for its kiosk products.
The first is with Cary, N.C.-based 3dvillage, which develops interactive 3D media for a variety of applications. The new business alliance will enable SeePoint to equip its kiosks, used primarily for public Internet access, retail services, ticketing systems, public information terminals and customer service applications, with the enhanced graphics produced by 3dvillage, according to a 3dvillage news release.
3dvillage is a two-year-old, privately-held firm with 30 employees.
SeePoint also announced a business alliance with Digimarc Corp.(NASDAQ: DMRC) that will bring Digimarc's MediaBridge technology to SeePoint kiosks. The technology allows for print materials held directly in front of a kiosk camera to instantly link customers to online information at the kiosk, according to a Digimarc news release.
Digimarc, based in Tualatin, Ore., produces products and applications using its digital watermark technology.
SeePoint's customers include the Federal Highway Administration, Hard Rock Café and the San Francisco International Airport.
