Scientific Games announces strategic partnerships with Playtech to offer Internet and kiosk gaming

Scientific Games Corp. and Playtech Limited have announced the formation of strategic partnerships to jointly develop and market next-generation Internet and land-based gaming products and services to regulated gaming operators.

The companies' joint efforts will include a systems partnership in gaming terminals and development utilizing Playtech's Videobet software platform, technology expertise and gaming product suite; as well as a new joint venture, to be called Sciplay, focused on Internet government-sponsored and government-regulated lottery and gaming, according to a release.
