Sato introduces remote label printer

Sato, a provider of auto-ID and labeling solutions, has launched the PW4NX 4-inch mobile label printer offering mobile labeling applications in retail, foodservice, logistics, manufacturing and health care, according to a press release.

The 6-inches-per-second print speeds reduce printing time by 32% when printing 10 million labels per year compared to the previous Sato 4-inches-per-second mobile model.

Mobile printers remove the need for stationary printers or desktop printers pushed around on carts to ensure print speed and quality.

Parts like platen rollers and print heads are replaceable.

Remote monitoring of printer usage data prevents downtime from worn out parts and batteries that need to be replaced.
