Sato International acquires West Coast label manufacturer

Sato International America Inc. has acquired Stafford Press Inc., a Redmond, Washington-based producer of tags and labels in North America, for an undisclosed sum, according to a press release.

Sato plans to add inkjet printing as an option to its existing range of thermal, laser and RFID-based horticulture labeling and tagging solutions, and to grow its auto-ID solutions business by establishing a labeling manufacturing base on the West Coast.
