San Francisco Taco Bell offers solar powered EV charging stations

A Taco Bell restaurant operated by Diversified Restaurant Group opened the first Taco Bell with solar powered EV charging stations. The restaurant is located at 465 El Camino Real and is the first of 298 DRG Taco Bells to offer the solar powered EV charging stations, according to a San Francisco Examiner report.

The charging stations have been provided by ChargeNet Stations, an EV station developer and AI software company.

The property will have six chargers beneath a solar array covering 10 spots.

Users will be able to get a 100-plus mile charge in about 20 minutes for around $20.
