San Francisco library deploys book kiosk at grocery store

The San Francisco Public Library recently introduced an automated book kiosk at Island Cove Market, according to the library website. The kiosk is available during market hours.

Users scan their library card, type in their PIN number and open a door on the machine. The books are automatically checked out when the door closes.

The books can be returned at the machine or at any library location.

Island Cove Market is a grocery store located at the Navy Base Exchange Building in San Francisco.
