MIAMI - A new boating accessories and services provider has turned to kiosk software developer Netkey Inc. to introduce its products to the marketplace.
Netkey provided software services for six kiosks at MariSafe's booth during the Miami International Boat Show, running Feb. 14-19 at the Miami Beach Convention Center. The kiosks offer product information, access to MariSafe's Web-based marine services, and information for checking entries in a MariSafe-sponsored sweepstakes.
The Branford, Conn.-based company partnered with Sarasota, Fla.-based design, development, and integration firm MethodFactory on the project. Netkey's software developed the kiosk user interface and provided device security, while MethodFactory used its media server to manage kiosk synchronization and handle registration to MariSafe's Web site.
"We chose Netkey because of its best-in-class feature set, user interface design flexibility, and the easy integration into our product," John Leeming, MethodFactory vice president of business development, said in a news release.
