Romanian startup launches TV rental vending machine

Telerenta, a Romania-based electronic equipment rental company, has introduced a TV rental vending machine, according to a business-review.eu report.

Each RentBox vending machine has three TVs of different sizes: 32, 40 and 50 inches, from different manufacturers.

All components are produced in Romania in partnership with BobNet Group, an automated retail manufacturer.

The customer scans a QR code on the RentBox, selects the TV they want and a rental period between three and 24 months.

The customer then electronically signs a rental contract on their phone. They can then lift the TV out of the machine.
