Roller acquires UK-based BookNow software

Roller, a venue management platform, has acquired BookNow Software, a booking and operations platform based in the United Kingdom, according to a press release. The move is intended to strengthen Roller's presence in Europe and the U.S. while expanding its expertise in customer relationship management, or CRM, platforms.
The acquisition was announced during IAAPA Expo Europe in Barcelona, Spain. BookNow Software founder Luke Sims will join Roller and serve as CEO of BookNow, a Roller Company.
"Their strong presence in Europe and expertise with CRM interoperability are key strategic levers that help Roller move faster in our mission to transform the guest experience and drive incredible ROI for our customers," Luke Finn, CEO of Roller, said in the release.
Roller said BookNow customers will benefit from the company's investment in customer success, 24/7 support and consistent product enhancements.
