The Rochester Redwings partnered with UR Medicine and the American Heart Association to install the HeartSaver Hub Mobile Kiosk at Innovative Field in Rochester, New York. It will be available for a limited time, according to a WHAM 13 report.
The HeartSaver Hub Mobile Kiosk is a hands-free CPR training device that offers a brief interactive training session involving hands-on practice. Once the session and practice are completed, the kiosk administers a 30-second test to the user.
"You just never know when there's going to be an episode when someone in your life will need help," Dan Mason, general manager of the Rochester Red Wings, told the news outlet. "Just a few minutes to train on the kiosk can save somebody's life."
The CPR training kiosk is the first of its kind in New York state and only one of four in the United States.
